Val Nosler Beck

Val is committed to bringing people together through their differences because working through the tough issues with more voices at the table results in better outcomes for everyone.  

Val is an expert in operation management, community engagement, and strategic planning and has held various political and public service roles over the past 15 plus years in local, state, and federal government. She is a standout leader who can find solutions to complex problems and a skillful communicator who manages people, stakeholders, and situations in fast-paced environments by building trust and accountability.

Val was Campaign Coordinator and Director of Operations for John Hickenlooper’s US Senate and US Presidential campaigns. Prior she worked in the Colorado Governor’s Office in various roles, including Director of Scheduling and Advance and Community Engagement Director for flood and fire resiliency and recovery.

In the Hickenlooper Administration, Val held senior-level communications roles in various Colorado State Agencies, including the Department of Revenue, Department of Local Affairs, and Department of Human Services.

She began her career in Washington, DC, for then-Congressman Mark Udall and US Senator Evan Bayh. She also was surrogate scheduler in Colorado on President Obama’s 2008 Campaign for Change.

Val is passionate about mentoring and coaching campaign staffers. She founded a Non-profit called “The Steady” that trains campaign staff on how to make a sustainable career in political staffing.

Val serves on Wheat Ridge City Council and has championed local legislation that helps residents thrive where they live, including establishing an Equity and Race Task Force. Val sits on the Blue flower Board and serves on the Jefferson County Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility Task Force.

Val was named one of the Most Powerful Women in Business by the Colorado Women's Chamber of Commerce.
